Can you save your autocompleted email addresses in Outlook 2003 if you have not entered the information on a contact card? Is there a way to export your autocompleted saved email addresses to a list? Thanks.
Can you save your autocompleted email addresses in Outlook if they are not a contact?
Yes, once you send an email to an address outlook will remember it. They dont need to be a contact. I am not an IT person but I believe it is saved in a file called an .NK2 which can be ported over from one machine to another (i.e. if you upgrade or change machines). The only reason I know this stuff is that we just went through an Outlook upgrade last month and I did not want to lose all my autocompleted names as they took me years to populate!

How do I write an email to send with a resume?
I was lucky enough to meet the vice president of an insurance company, and he has given me his business card. Upon hearing that I'm a recent college graduate, he told me to email him my resume and he will get it to the right people. My question is, what should I say in the email? I have a little bit of trouble formulating it.
How do I write an email to send with a resume?
Dear Mr. (vice-pres),

Does Yahoo ever ask for credit card number as identification to access email?
This afternoon I tried unsuccessfully to access my email on an old computer of mine and was asked if I had ever used a credit card to make purchase. This occurred after being informed that my password was invalad and was information requested to access the password. I am fearful that I"ve given information that should not have been given out. Is this a valid question by Yahoo, and if not, how should I handle this situation?
Does Yahoo ever ask for credit card number as identification to access email?
Yahoo is free... no they have never asked for a credit card number. Call your credit card company right away!
Reply:This is strange, because the same thing just happened to me today. I would say that it's not safe if you did not see the yellow security lock in the bottom right had corner of the screen. I myself did not give any information out. I just closed it out and reopened my mail and it worked fine. Please be carefull, you never know who is out there trying to get information from you. Never give out your credit card number if you are not buy anything. If are buying something off of the internet, make sure the window is secure. Again the yellow lock in the right hand corner of the screen.
Reply:i'll be honestly to you no sbc yahoo never ever ask any users online asking for their password or even any credit cards as identification about who you are . i think you shouldnt even sigin or do nothing about the fake emails unknow person who had send you that message can be a hijacked or even a stranger who trying to steal youre password and username and even youre credit cards money. can happen if you had sigin up for a joke and fake site that had trying to trick you by senting you a fake messsage. i would just block or sent it to the spammer .
Reply:No they should not ask for a credit card number unless you are buying Yahoo personals. I think you have been hacked. Call your bank first, then call Yahoo. Use a virus scanner on your machine.
Reply:You've been scammed. Contact your credit card company immediately. Tell them what happened, and that you need a new number and card ASAP. Follow this up with a letter.
Then contact Yahoo!, and change EVERYTHING with them.
Yahoo! never has asked for a credit card number as a way of identifying one of their users.
Never, ever give out your credit or debit card number to anyone.

Reply:No. Call your credit card company and tell them your situation ASAP. You may want to have a new card number issued to avoid any charges they may run up on your card.
Reply:ive gotten that before when Ive forgotten my password. THATS NORMAL DONT WORRY!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Yahoo is a free service, they would never ask you for a credit card number.
You need to call your CC company and report the number as stolen if you gave it out. And change your Yahoo password immediately.

Can you do email on a phone with a prepaid type account?
Instead of using minutes I would like to access people just using email. Is that possible?
I have one account with minutes, the other phone (my kids) uses a card for minutes. That's the one I want to have email access on. So as not to use card minutes.
Can you do email on a phone with a prepaid type account?
You should be able to send and recieve e-mails from your phone as text messages and just have the regular price of text messages charged to your prepaid account.

There is a company called Otartel which sells gift cards to different places at various savings?
The savings run from 3% - as much as 12%
I purchased about $150 worth over a month ago but when I try to go on their website it's just a blank screen %26amp; the phone number always goes to vms--I decided to pay $30 to have my check cancelled(they don't accept credit cards)
Was this a wise decision? I have still not received any email confirmation nor items

Yes. You made a very wise decision. It is increasingly obvious that the site is a scam and there are open investigations ongoing by the NYC DA and the USPS.
The site is currently shut down.

Within this group you will be able to share your story, join with others, and find advice on how to seek justice. Here is an example of information on the site:
1. The Better Business Bureau can't do much. They recommended the

2. File mail fraud complaint with USPS inspection service

5. If your driver's license # or SSN was on the check sent to OtarTel,
you may want to close your accounts to avoid identity theft. Add an
alert to your credit reports for 90 days. The three credit agencies
would let you do this for free if you believe that a (potential) fraud
(would) happen to you. It is renewable for another 90 days after it
expires.
Finally, you should file with your local police, but if you are not in
NYC, that would not help much. Instead, filing with FBI and Attorney
General of New York State. If we get enough people, these two agencies
would most likely be the ones that take care of our business.

Should i put my home address on my business cards?
Myself and my workmate are thinking of going into business together. We are looking at ordering some business cards but dont know whether or not to put a address on the cards. As we dont actually have any premises it would have to be a home address. Do you think that this is a good idea or should we just have our mobile numbers along with an email address?
Should i put my home address on my business cards?
No I would only give mobile numbers. Some people wouldn't think twice about calling round on a Saturday night.
Good luck.

They seem like they'd be great for your situation, a home-based business. It looks professional to potential clients. I have no idea of pricing, but they seem to offer a lot of options, so maybe they're flexible.

Instead of sending out holiday cards, what do you think about donating to a charity instead?
Every year we waste money on cards that just get tossed in the trash two weeks after receiving them. I was thinking about donating that money instead to a charity and sending out an email encouraging my would be holiday card recipients to do the same. Any thoughts?
Instead of sending out holiday cards, what do you think about donating to a charity instead?
Actually, I've wondered why people give each other lavish gifts that they don't need (in fact, some people have so much that others can't even think of anything to give them!), and then say that they don't have anything to give to charity. I think your idea is an excellent one; there are a lot of people out there who need the basics - food, clothing, and shelter - a lot worse than Aunt Tilly needs ANOTHER bottle of cologne!
Reply:Send the 39 cents per stamp per envelope and the money you would have spent on cards to a charity....good idea!
I think another suggested e-cards instead...this is a good idea!
PS. You are also saving trees! Double pat on the back for you!

Besides giving physical food, we can give them spiritual food too.

Don't You collect up all the old cards and place them in the appropriate receptacle so that charities can obtain funds from the recycling process? Don't You think that the idea of sending an email shows that You just couldn't be bothered to make an effort?
P.S., Merry Christmas (Not quite the same as a card, is it?)

Is it possible to send pictures from my cell phone to my email?
When I have a picture that I want to send to my email but its on my cell phone, can I click NEW TEXT MESSAGE, then click send to my email? Will it work or not? Can somebody give me another way to send it to my email without having to use a memory stick or card?
Is it possible to send pictures from my cell phone to my email?
the easiest way to do it without having to type your email address everytime you send the email is to program your email as a contact in your phone book, make sure its all lower case letters, alot of phones like to capitalize the first letter by defalt, if it capitalizes the first letter simply type it 2 times and go back and delete the capitalized letter, then compose a picture message using the email address as a contact and send it that way. worse case if that doesn't work there should be a way to switch your entry mode from numbers to letters or words and symbols etc. set it up like you would normally send a picture message to a persons cell but instead of typing numbers try hitting your menu key or the * key or # ley to switch the entry mode.
Reply:This all depends upon your service provider and phone messaging capabilities. I've successfully sent photos from phones on the Verizon and Cingular networks to my email address without a problem.
Many services (like 360 and flickr) allow you to post your photos from your phone using text / media messaging.
Reply:It should be possible, if your phone has both a camera and the capability of text/multimedia messaging. Go to create new message, select multimedia message, add graphic, pic or video and then the email address to which you're sending it to. All phones have these options, but maybe in a different order.

Good free email card sites without downloads/registrations/fees?
Believe subject line pretty well covers it, but would appreciate info on any sites that don't require downloads/registrations or fees. Thanks.

I use Webshots.
You can post your own photos or pick someone else's.
You don't have to download their API, but it's only helpful if you want to save and view numerous pix from their site.
There is no fee but they do want you to register. Just set up an alternate email on Yahoo or Gmail.

How can you be sure that all email inquiries from your website are reaching you?
I have been getting word back that some email inquiries generated from my wesite and business cards regarding new business are not coming through to me. My business depends on new inquiries and I need to verify the integrity/privacy of email messages.
How can you be sure that all email inquiries from your website are reaching you?
Check with the ISP that is hosting your website for you. They will probably be able to help you.

I received an email for a pre-approved credit card through new millennium bank. Is there a website to check va
validity of the company before giving them my information?
I received an email for a pre-approved credit card through new millennium bank. Is there a website to check va
It is a valid website. Applying for credit cards on-line is more effective for banks to gain new applicants than direct mail. If you are not sure, it doesn't hurt to check a little further into the validity of any on-line entity. http://www.creditwish.com has been offering credit solutions since 2002. You can get an actual credit card from there that reports to all three credit bureaus. It is a better solution than a debit card.
Reply:It is a real bank. The offer is for a secured credit card. So the amount of credit you have is depedent on how much money you deposit. $300 is the minimum deposit.
Plus, there's a $59 annual fee, a $99.95 one time application fee, and another $35 for confirmation/account materials.
There's people out there that say they were ripped off by this company. NMB took money from their accounts without ever applying for the card.

Reply:You do realize that you can just go to any credit card company and apply for a credit card.
Pre-Approval means nothing, it is just a marketing ploy.
Break the word down. (Pre, meaning before)
Before-Approval.

Does anyone know the process for requesting a subpoena? I despearately need to get into my old email account.
I don't remember the answer to my security question, and my password was changed by someone today. I have important information, contact, documents and credit card/cable statements in my email account. If anyone knows this process please help me. Need access ASAP.
Does anyone know the process for requesting a subpoena? I despearately need to get into my old email account.
You are in a tough predicament. A subpoena is not the route. Legally, an ex parte temporary restraining order, issued under exigent circumstances by court order without the other party present, would be better suited.
But you must know where to file it (which court has power over this person?), you must know against whom to file, and so on. This isn't feasible or practical in your situation. I attached a link for some other ideas on getting your password back.
You MUST IMMEDIATELY contact all three credit bureaus (see link below), your credit card fraud departments, contact your bank(s), contact the Social Security Administration and other creditors you believe may have sensitive information.
Also, it is very wise to obtain a fraud alert service for one year (all of the credit bureaus offer this) which monitors activity on your accounts as maintained by the three credit bureaus.
I know this is a dreadful situation, but you must act now to repair or prevent any damage. Good luck.
Reply:Contact Yahoo support. I tried and they said I would hear back from them, never did.

Is there anyone with a good knowledge of yugioh cards and how much they are worth?
I am looking to sell my yugioh cards on ebay, but I'm not sure how much a lot of my rare cards are worth, so I'm wondering if theres anyone who wants to leave their email, so they can help put a price on some of my cards.
Thanks

Hi. I am the co-owner of a comic book and trading card store and you can e-mail me at aburame_shino123@yahoo.com if you need the prices of any yugioh cards.
Reply:I have the same problem i had so much leftover from when they were popular. What i'd do is go to a store like a comic book store, sports memorabilia store, or card shop and compare your cards to theirs or ask them for an estimate. You can also buy something like a yugioh price guide like the becket ones that you can find anywhere magazines are and find the prices in there.

Reply:Be careful with pricing cards on ebay. You price it $1, it will sell for $1 as often there's only one bidder. So price them not regret later. Check guide prices at http://yugico.com/, make some discount for ebay (people want everything free there you know) and list them. Shop listings might work better if you have many cards so you list them once and then sit and wait till they all sold.

Would anybody be interested in buying handmade cards for any occasion?
I make my own cards and am looking to start my own business form doing this eventually. But I need to start selling them on a small scale, so if anybody is interested, I could send some pics, or you could tell me what you are after and i could make it for you. I even made my own wedding invites so i would consider doing larger orders as well as individual cards. Please leave your email address below if you would like further information. Many thanks for your interest.

I make all of my cards too. Make sure if you're using a certain company's products - like Stampin' Up, CTMH, etc, you check out their Angel Policy. If you don't and get caught you could get into some trouble.
Ebay is great for selling cards. 5 for $15.00 is a great deal - and the bidding goes up from there!

There are loads of similar shops and sites already around that have been established for years. You've got a lot of competition out there, so yours had better be either cheaper, or outstandingly different. Just do a search for handmade cards, and see what your competitors are doing.

I have her buisness card and it has an email address on it. I want to know how to word an email to her asking if he is single. I don't want to weird her out and I wish to keep my identity hidden in fear that I will not be able to go back in the shop because of embarrsment and akwardness. How do I word this email? That is not going to work, she is a woman, and she understands, just go up to her next time you are in the shop and ask her!!!She will be glad to tell you what is going on.PEACE!!
Reply:Just ask the guy lol be honest
Reply:"Yo, gal... what is the name of your boyfriend who is always with you at your office? I need to send you both a Christmas card. Let us do lunch one day. Have a nice day."
(pretend to spilt out that he is her boyfriend-chances are she will deny if she is not and volunteer more info about whether he is married, attached or gay. Also good to indicate a prelude to meeting up with her for lunch to dig more info from her).
Reply:no good way to email, just walk in the store %26amp; talk to him
Reply:This is 2006...not 1906...just go and approach him and ask him out for coffee.
Put your big girl panties on and don't be embarrassed...if he says no - chalk it up to experience. If he says yes...Waaaala you've succeed and took the initiative.
Good Luck...now go and do it.
Reply:Don't email it is very informal and can be read the wrong way.
Just talk to him!
Reply:Talk to him in person and tell him what you feel.

Are you trying to use POP3 mail? Like Outlook? Try to use browser based web mail, and you don't have to know the mail servers. Just log in @ http://mail.yahoo.com with your username and password.

Or someone that can create a blank business template for me with a clip art picture of cosmetics on it. Every time I try...I cant get it right.

Who can I email to find out why my yahoo phone card does not work?
I purchased a yahoo phone card so I could place calls to a phone through my PC and was sent a confirmation of payment from yahoo but when I go to use the PC phone out it wont put the call through it tells me that I need to purchase a card. I have searched all over yahoo to find any kind of contact us email address so I can have this problem looked at but can not find anything that will take me to someone live its all automatic.
Who can I email to find out why my yahoo phone card does not work?
You can check your account status at http://voice.yahoo.com/ and click on the "My Services" link at the top of the page. Based on your description, it seems that you have been hit with "Mystery Credit". This is a method for Yahoo! to verify that your credit card is not fraudlently used. The same page above should also describe how you can get it fixed.
You can also view the help pages at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/messenger/...
If you want to contact a customer care person, click on any of the questions on this page at click on the button "No" at the bottom of the page where it says "Is this information enough?"
Reply:I'm surprised you mention Yahoo Phone Card.
I thought that was something rather different.
I signed up for "PhoneOut" - which does indeed let me easily call a phone direct from YM on my PC, but never any mention of Phone Card! It simply asked my credit card details, which I gave, and now it works until my credit runs out.
But sorry, I guess all this aint much help to YOU. ? :-(

Is there any way to tell if the email I send has been read?
I recieve an email when an e-card has been opened. Is there a way to know if an ordinary e-mail has been opened?
Is there any way to tell if the email I send has been read?
Some email programs have this feature but the reader of the email has to agree to let you know that it was read by clicking a link in the email. I dont know if there are programs to let you know without the reciever approving it.

What sort of agency info needs to be on acting business cards?
I'm making a business card for acting and i was wondering what else needs to be on the cards besides agency phone, email, fax, address, name, zip, and web site.
thanks.
What sort of agency info needs to be on acting business cards?
You've pretty much got it down. I'd also put the "icon" or logo on the business card if applicable. Here is a link with some resources like business cards.

Do you send your Christmas and New Year Cards by post or by email?
Our world has gotten so impersonal. Getting a Christmas card in the mail is personal and gives me the warm fuzzies. It is just knowing someone took the time and effort to think enough about you to include you. Email...just click a few buttons and you are done. Weeee!
Reply:Both, but mostly post.
Reply:snail mail for sure its more personal!
Reply:Post, because i know i love the feeling when you wake up on the mornings near crimbo and there are lots of eveleopes on the door mat to open, it all adds to the christmasy feel =)

Except now they only have very few free cards. Most you have to pay for now. It's really annoying. Some of the free cards are still good, though, so I'll still use it. Any cards that are free have a little organge tag that says "Free!" on the left side of the image (when you're browsing the thumbnails).

I don't want to change my email address , as I have many cards and letter heads out. What do I need to do?
You can always create a 'new' email address in addition to your existing one and route the new address to your current address so you can have multiple addresses but one stop reading!

Can passwords to say my personal email, bank and credit card accounts be taken off a server?
At my work, during our lunch we are allowed to use and surf the internet however the person who manages the server does more nosing around than managing it. Can that person say get my password to my yahoo email or other webpages off the server? It really isn't all that I don't think. Sonic wall, AVG, Mozilla...we don't work in a place where there is a lot of classified high tech info or anything.
Can passwords to say my personal email, bank and credit card accounts be taken off a server?
Yes he can snoop through the packets you send. My suggestion is that if your information to be secure make sure the website has https: in the address bar. This encrypts the data so he wont be able to read it! Yahoo does this on the login screen for example.
Reply:Your Yahoo password is not stored on a server, unless you have Roboform or something else, and then it's only stored on your hard drive if you have individual desktop units. If you have a mainframe computer, then you might have a problem.
However, I think it there is only a very slim chance that the nosy person can get your bank information, as that also has to be put in each time you log in, like your Yahoo ID and password. She would have to be VERY competent to search the packets as they go through the server, and be an accomplished hacker at that. You said that isn't likely, so I think you are safe. However, this situation certainly bears watching to see what this person does besides snooping!
Reply:According to The National Security Institute computer data theft is the number one threat to National Security in the world right now. The person managing your server more than likely has access to everything on that server.
Reply:people may hack and you might not even know it. never trust the internet 100%

Why do you need a credit card # to get a free email account?
I wanted to get a new email address throught Yahoo (cuz I made this one up when I was in 8th grade and obsessed with the band Drowning Pool) but it won't let me unless i have a credit card to "verify my age".
Unfortunetly. I don't like the idea of owning a credit card and i don't have one.
Why do you need a credit card # to get a free email account?
It sounds like you're trying to sign up for the premium service of Yahoo. Standard Yahoo accounts are free and do not require a credit card (unless perhaps you're trying to access 'adult' areas).
Reply:You must be signing up for something more than the basic yahoo account. Yahoo doesnt usually ask for a cc#
Reply:Something isn't right. I have never needed to have a credit card number. Did you try to get new email addy right off of yahoo.com?
Reply:switch to hot or g-mail
Reply:You shouldn't have to (just depends on country, probably), or you could say your over 18.
Anyhow, I can hook you up with a Gmail account, which is way better IMO, just email me at arunforceATgmailDOTcom, and I will send you an invite.

How do you deliver orders through email in Paypal?
I want to send my products through email because they're just css codes in a zipped folders. But how can I do that? Probably most of my customers will use credit cards to pay and I want to get their email addresses so I can deliver it.
How do you deliver orders through email in Paypal?
In setting up your merchant account you can ask that the email address be given. You can also set it up so that you receive notification of new payments, this will show the email address of the buyer as they too receive confirmation of payment via email.
I have used Paypal for 10 years and all of my orders have an email address with them.
You might also clarify on the order page that you need the correct email address in order to email the order to the customer.
Reply:The entire concept behind PayPal is that buyers and sellers are able to send and receive payments to/from their email address. Any PayPal payment you receive will automatically include an email address. Please keep in mind, the selling of virtual goods is a high risk business because you have absolutely no protection if you receive a fraudulent payment. My best advise is to require your buyers to provide a confirmed shipping address and mail out the information on a CD which can be tracked via a tracking or delivery confirmation number. It may cost you a couple extra bucks to ship, but it may be worth it, it kind of depends on how much these transactions will be. If its less than $10, go nuts, its not probable that you'll be the target of fraud. But if its $50 or more, ship the CD.
Hope this helps.

How Often Do You Change Email? How Many Emails Do You Have?
I've had 2 emails for the past year and a half.
One is stable and my main one which is okay...just the name i'm no longer too fond of, though can't change it cause I hand out business cards with that email.
The 2nd is older and don't like the name anymore, sounds unprofessional and has begun receiving more spam than actually emails.
How many do you have?
BUT
Most Importantly....

I am trying to register my daughter for an email account but I do not have a credit card. How do I do it?
Yahoo wants to verify my age. I have an email account myself but they want a credit card and I do not have one. Can you tell me how I can get this done without a credit card?
I am trying to register my daughter for an email account but I do not have a credit card. How do I do it?
If you want to create a sub-account for your minor child, you will be asked to provide the numbers on your credit card to signify your consent- this is in compliance with COPPA.
If you really do not have one, you can simply type in an age older that what your child really is.
The key word is minor so, if you really want to proceed with creating an email address for your child, better put in an incorrect age and then, you can put Parental Controls on that account to supervise the account's activity.

Can i send christmas cards via yahoo to friends email addresses?
yes

Can i send christmas cards via yahoo to friends email addresses?
Of course you can.
Cards are wonderful to receive, something to hold in your hand but, if you don't have the time or the money to send cards then ecards are absolutely fine, and a delightful alternative. I have received a few this year that are so animated and clever, something I never could have gotten out of a physical card.
Have fun, enjoy the holidays, and don't worry if you are doing something right or wrong because it is the thought that counts!

What is the best email site to use for making credit card payment?
I want to start paying bills on internet. What I just want to know is what is the safest email
to use for this. Not to pay bills by but just a safe place to keep all finance information.
What is the best email site to use for making credit card payment?
Why not stick with the leaders such as:
mail.yahoo.com
www.gmail.com
Reply:Don't understand what you're asking - a place to keep all finance information? Your PC would be a logical place for that, assuming nobody else uses it - if they do, put the info under password protection.
As far as actually paying the bills, most companies have their own websites for that.
Reply:Check with your current bank. Many banks offer on line bill payments from their secure website, and many if not most are free to their customers.
Reply:hey - I would advise you not to use any credit card payments through net.
It is highly risky unless it has a encoded programme wherein your card details are not copied

Type of email letters and cards to send a internet friend who has cancer and not doing well...?
All right I am not sure on the situation on the age or anything but I can say that I have had cancer for 5 years from age 15-20 and recieved A LOT of cards and what not and would write/call back the people that sent them and tell them thanks for thinking about me and it was all fine and great but I don't recal that many of them. The ones I do recal are ones from people that had a profound impact on my life and just the fact that they wrote a little something personal made me feel a lot better. So grab whatever card you want to and put a little passage in there about something you two shared and they will be more then pleased. Ry guy
Type of email letters and cards to send a internet friend who has cancer and not doing well...?
It is not a time for comedy, as you know. Too sentimental, if not your usual demeanor will only sadden. Please, if it is terminal - do not send a "Get Well" card! The best are "Thinking of You" and Sorry you're ill cards. There are lots of free online ecards, but I suggest you keep it simple. Large animations may take more time and patience to load than your friend cares to give. By sending a simple card of acknowledgement your friend will know you care, and it will go far in her/his battle knowing she/he has caring friends.
Reply:Don't make them feel that you are sorry for them. Say something to validate them, get them to talk about their future, and be encouraging.
Reply:What happened to visiting, and bringing flowers and cards?
Reply:if you cant be there in person, words of encouragement. Prayer. Thoughts that this person knows comes straight from your heart. A phone call means so much more.
Reply:encouragement cards %26amp; tell them 2 keep having faith cuz ppl who have faith %26amp; believe that they are going 2 pull through...survive! u can go 2 american greeting cards 2 get 1!
Reply:Better you visit him your self to give him your support and let him know that you care of him so much, let him know that he still have a friend that can be relay on and to share anything with, this way can give him strength to face his illness.
But if you can't, just sent him a card/flower with a prayer that he will get better and give your best words to give him strength.
Reply:Words of encouragement that she's not alone, that she has many friends and loved ones. Funny cards are wonderful too, just anything that'll make her laugh. Even mindless games, would work.
Reply:don't sent e-mail go see him or her bring things you both like to do that she/he is able to do with the amount of strength he/she has
e-mails are cheap when it comes to this type of situation
Reply:Thinking of you and funny cards
Reply:American Greetings has free e-cards you can send from their website. Keep your choice humorous, but not rude.
Reply:Yey. Visiting is a lot better than an E-mail.
Reply:Best thing to do is sent prayer request to where ever you can, and tell him we love, care, and pray for him/her,
JESUS LOVE YOU and HIM.
Reply:cheery ones that just say thinking of you and maybe send some jokes or something to perk up their spirits. Not much sense in sending any GET WELL SOON cards is there?

Any chance of Green Card Notification by email or phone?
If in case you messed up the Mailing Adress of Green Card while filling the Application Form, and you happen to be one of the winner of the lottery, is there any chance to get notified by an EMAIL or by a Phone Call if you've provided them in the form correctly, or simply notifing you by a call or an email to tell you the adress of the letter they delivered to your country?
Any chance of Green Card Notification by email or phone?
if your entry is selected, you will be notified by mail. the notification letter will be sent only to the mailing address provided on the entry. they won't notified you by email or phone.
Reply:nope. they send everything through mail. you should have informed them of the mistake as soon as you realized what you did. that way, they can make ammends to your papers. do that now before you jeopardize your applications.
Reply:You need to contact your local government official. They process thousand of pieces of paper a day, if something is missing you are out of luck. Or hire an attorney, they cost money, but they make sure things get done right.

Can I set a date and time for an email to be sent?
I'm going on holiday next week and it's my friends birthday and I wanna send her a email at 12:00pm but I have no way of getting online. Is there a way I can send a e-card or a email at a set time?
Can I set a date and time for an email to be sent?
You can have an e-card sent on a specific date, but I don't think you can choose the time. Is there a mutual friend you can send it to and they will send it on for you, or, in the message say something about the time, you know, like, toasted you at midnight.
Reply:Many e-card sites will allow you to specify the date and time you wish the greetings to be sent. I usually use www.virtualflowers.com
Reply:Yahoo has an ecard service.
The free version will not let you schedule and ecard.
But "for a small annual fee," you can schedule ecards. See:

Do you still write/receive letters and cards (snail mail not email)?
I love writing letters and cards to family and friends. I write at least 5 a week, if not more. I don't always receive that many though. Is the art of letter writing dead? What is your experience in this department?
Do you still write/receive letters and cards (snail mail not email)?
Wow, all you letter writers warm my heart! I thought it was a lost art, but it seems there are still a few people carrying the torch. I love to receive handwritten notes, letters and postcards, and try to write as often as I have time (not enough, but better than nothing). Email is fast and easy, but lacks intimacy.
Reply:Ooh yes! I still send out cards to friends and loved ones, especially at Christmas %26amp; on birthdays. I just love writing on really nice notecards %26amp; notepapers. Emails and ecards just doesn't feel the same to me. Too bad most people are too lazy to take the time to write.
Reply:I write at least one letter a week. It was something my parents made me do when I was a kid, and I've kept it up.
Unfortunately--I don't get many in reply.

Reply:It is a dieing thing. I still write personal thank you cards for any gift I get or when someone has helped me with something, but to just correspond I use email. I like it that it gets there in seconds instead of taking three days.

Yes... everytime they come out and turn my electricity off.
I like to write, it gives me the time to think about the things I really want to say, and the opportunity to change the words I later realize, I should not say. Ya can't do that while talking to someone.
The only problem I have... is that I go through a heck-of-a-lot of erasers.... guess I should work on that.

Reply:i like to choose snail mail too but i am with you in the department where no one responds. It kind of sucks you think you doing something so sweet and unexpected would make them want to write back i guess not. I thought wow wouldn't be be totally shocked if he got one in the mail...cuz you know when you receive mail your like what is this about and then open it up and it's something pleasant that's awesome! he never wrote me back i hate that.
Reply:Yes I still write, mostly overseas even so my friends are trying to do the email thing they just do not respond to it like we do.
an email can sit in their box for 2 weeks before they think about checking.
Reply:Yes - letter writing is mostly dead. It is great that you still do it as there is nothing better than holding a hand written note from a friend who may be far away. Like many things it may come back someday as digital media is being found not to be all that. Government records on CD and DVD are disappearing after less than 5 years. Cd's made in your home with the current technology last only 1 to 3 years. I have music on tape from the 1920's. Vinyl records are coming back because they last and have infinitely better sound range and quality. I keep everything on vinyl as I have records from as far back as the 40's. To make it more portable, I transfer to CD or mp3 on a temporary basis. Boy did I ramble here. Sorry Keep writing those letters.
Reply:Yes, I think it's more personal when writing a letter. I love getting them from other people too.

I am trying to email a business card Word document.?
I zip the file, attach it to the email and send. My friend receivs the zipped file, saves it to their desktop and then open it to find a blank document?? No picture or text. What can I do so they can receive the business card file complete with pictures and text so they can print it out? Thanks so much for any help.
I am trying to email a business card Word document.?
Try renaming the extension name from .doc to an ambiguous extension name like .dod. Then attach to your email and sent to your friend. For your friend, he/ she has to save it to their computer and rename the extension name from .dod back to .doc
If it works, it may have something to do with the firewall of their company whereby the company email will remove any harmful contents of files attach with email

Is this a genuine email from Barclays Bank?
I bank online with Barclays. I received an email today in my "Bulk" folder, strange, because usually any mail I get from them goes straight into the inbox...
Anyway, the email states that they are updating their services and that I should provide all my details for confirmation - name, address, email, card number, logon details, secret question, secret answer, password, etc.
For some reason the date on when the email was sent says 7th May... Am I right to be sceptical about this - it certainly looks like a usual Barclays email.
What do you suggest? Has anyone else received something like this?
Thanks.
Is this a genuine email from Barclays Bank?
Don't reply!!! I would also be sceptical! It's worth going into Barclays and showing them the e-mail and I'm sure they will know straight away and if it is genuine then I'm sure you can up-grade your account actually at the bank. It's worth doing that than risking giving away all your details to a random e-mail!!
Definitely would not reply!!!!
Reply:You're right about being sceptical.
I suggest ignoring the email and contacting Barclays directly to tell them about it. They may have a file of these kinds of bogus emails and can set their fraud department out researching it.
Reply:no banks will email you, whatever you do, do not reply to any emails with personal info, banks will write in the post or contact you via phone. make sure you report it to the bank and your local police force
Reply:Delete it.
You should never open emails that you are not sure about.
Call your bank and report it.
Keep an eye on your account!!
Reply:NO NO NO! do not send any details of you a/c this is a scam, your bank does not ask for any personal details in an email, and there are a lot of scams from so called banks out there right now, I have received about 8 from different banks that I am not even with!, so do not reply report them as spam.
Reply:Barclays never send you mail like this i sagest you contact the barclays as soon as possible and do not press any in the e mail it is definitely a fraud.
Reply:Yes. Had the same mail last week for Halifax and Egg. Report it to your bank and do not go to the link page shown.
Reply:DO NOT OPEN THE MAIL, IT'S A PHISHING TRIP.
Reply:I've got them before. It's called "spoof". Forward the e-mail in it's entirety to your bank, and delete it. Online banking does not request information like that via e-mail. They already have it! Check your bank's website and see if they have a procedure or policy for fraudulent e-mails.
The sender has probably sent hundreds, even thousands of those... all it takes is one reply.
Reply:It his a fake, do not click on any links that may be in the email. Contact your bank ASAP.
Reply:NO! It's is a scam and an attempt to steal your account data and most likely the money in your account. Do not reply and do not click any links in the email. No bank would ever ask you for those details in an email, which is not secure. Delete the message.
Reply:This is a well known scam. I have had several which are supposed to be from various banks.
Banks don't ask for information they already have.
Delete the email
Reply:spam my friend
Reply:Your Biggest clue is the email address! It will most probably be a yahoo. or hot mail address! Not only that the are asking for pin etc! Your bank will tell you they do not ask for these things! the best thing for this email is to delete it! if you are worried phone the bank!
Reply:Its from Nigeria and be sure it is a scam
Reply:No - its a scam
Reply:Total spam. We got alot of these at work. They look real.
If you have an account there, They would contact you personally not by e-mail...
Reply:It's certainly a hoax email that you SHOULD NOT respond to. Forward the email to Barclay's. They maybe able to find out who the fraudsters are. Barclays or other companies will never ask your personal details over email. They would request it at the site where SSL security will be used. Therefore you already know this email is not genuine.
I hope that helps.
Reply:It's a scam !!! No bank would ask for your security details, especially online. I've received similar e-mails and I don't even bank with Barclays. The best thing to do is report it and ignore any further similar e-mails. Check out the net for 419 scams.
Reply:Just delete it, barclays, nor any other bank for that matter would send a dear sir type letter. Your ISP automatic detection knows ITS WRONG.Do not go to any website directed to by it.
Also do yourself a favour and get Netcraft, its free and will block all nasties or tell you of any problems with the site.
Reply:sounds very dodgy contact your bank immediatlely DO NOT follow any link given on this email instead log on to your account in your ususal way
these emails usually do look like the real thing
it is unlikely that these details will ever be asked for via email
incidentally should you ever get a phone call from your bank asking for all this info ask if you can phone them back with the info just in case it is not your bank phoning

I got an email saying my card is not good, but I use it every day it is good. why is it being rejected?
Also why am I being asked to pay anyway I thought Yahoo had changed to an unlimited mailbox. I dont understand why it is rejecting my card, it IS GOOD, %26amp; there is plenty of money in the account to pay you. None of my other information has changed either. Please email me with an answer or a phone number to call.

i would ignore the notice - it may be someone phishing for you to give them personal info. happens all the time with pay-pals and ebay scams - and they look real

Does anyone know where to sell cards at?
I have 178 yugioh cards that I want to get rid of. Some of them are years old and some are new. I live in Rapid City SD. Does anyone know if Storyteller Enterainment will buy my cards? They are a comic Book store. Also, does any one that lives in Rapid City want to buy some of my cards? If so, email me for a complete list.
Does anyone know where to sell cards at?
Try listing them on craigslist. I checked South Dakota, For sale, Collectibles, and found someone selling Pokemon cards. Good luck.
Reply:what kind, how many, how old, what cond. i might know somrone to buy or i myself might be interested. please send all lists if poss.
Reply:Man.. the other dayi was loking through mine. And i have 1474. and i need to sell them.
Some fat rich kid who lives near me offered to pay 350.
But ebay seems like a good option
Reply:sell them on ebay, since more and more people bid, you'll prolly get a decent price if you sell them saying like 178 GOOD YUGIOH CARDS!!! or somtin like dat.
Reply:ebay.com that should solve it
Reply:Ebay those cards or go to the comic book store to see how much they will pay for them or if they will buy them at all. You could always hire an appariser to see how much they are. Sorry about my spelling.
