I make my own cards and am looking to start my own business form doing this eventually. But I need to start selling them on a small scale, so if anybody is interested, I could send some pics, or you could tell me what you are after and i could make it for you. I even made my own wedding invites so i would consider doing larger orders as well as individual cards. Please leave your email address below if you would like further information. Many thanks for your interest.
Would anybody be interested in buying handmade cards for any occasion?
I make all of my cards too. Make sure if you're using a certain company's products - like Stampin' Up, CTMH, etc, you check out their Angel Policy. If you don't and get caught you could get into some trouble.
Ebay is great for selling cards. 5 for $15.00 is a great deal - and the bidding goes up from there!

Reply:your best bet is word of mouth from where you live, so make them and show them to your friends, family, neighbors, etc.. don't do it on-line it won't work well and it will cost S%26amp;H... yuck!
Reply:why don't you go to car boot sales or craft fairs good luck
Reply:I own a wedding company but we currently are not in need of invitations since I do some however, we are expanding into baby items in the late fall and are hoping to get into announcements %26amp; shower invites. I am always open to seeing someones ideas (wedding %26amp; others). Check out my site and let me know if this might interest you: www.herecomesyourbride.com. If anything, we can always place you on a links page if you develop a site. I suggest that first...so cheap if you go through Yahoo %26amp; very easy to design using their software. Let me know if you need any help or have questions.
Reply:why dont u have a go at selling them on ebay, or if you are with any crafty yahoo groups etc, you could sell some on there, thats what i do, or though family-friends-maybe penpals

Reply:I'm sure they are lovely, but I tend to make my own.
Good luck with the business though
Reply:that sounds lovely, but you would probably get more responce if you created a leaflet with a few examples on and prices and posage and packaging on and contact details and post them through peoples doors!! make a web page 2 it will really help!! good luck with it! :)
Reply:I hear etsy is a good place for setting up your own little shop. I wouldn't advertise here though, like someone else pointed out, it's against the rules.
Reply:I have bought individual hand made cards on ebay.. maybe you should start from there
Reply:Its one of the biggest hobbies going now, making your own cards. You'd probably be better off selling packs with all the bits to make your own.
There are loads of similar shops and sites already around that have been established for years. You've got a lot of competition out there, so yours had better be either cheaper, or outstandingly different. Just do a search for handmade cards, and see what your competitors are doing.
