Can I email a thank you letter for a job interview?

I went on a job interview yesterday. I interviewed with two people, one gave me his card, and the other didn't. Would it be appropriate to email a thank you letter tothe one who gave me his card, since he will be making the decision this week, and snail mail the other thank you letter because I do not have her email address. Would this look like I was giving one more importance over the other?

Can I email a thank you letter for a job interview?
No, e-mail would be fine and I don't think interviewers work like that. But can you not figure out the other interviewer's e-mail address from the format of the others? That would show initiative.
Reply:Definitely send a Thank you letter to both prospective employers. Because only one gave you his card doesn't necessarily mean he is going to employ you. You want to portray your intentions of being interested in the position and show them you are thankful for their time and consideration. Always leave your opportunities open so you can decide which offer is right for you. Good Luck....
Reply:I think snail mail them both with a short, concise note, summarizing briefly how you can benefit them. A letter has more perceived value and sincerity. E-maills might be perceived as more tacky, spam-like or easy to do, if only in the back of someone's mind.
Reply:get there addresses and mail them both a thank you note
Reply:I work at a community college and I can tell you the answer from a college's view. YES YES YES send them thank you letters....don't mail them. Deliver them in person and if they are not available, ask someone to put them on their desks. Do not email because email addresses in the business are meant for business relations, not personal. Granted you had an interview and it "could" be business, but I wouldn't take the risk. If you interviewed with more than one person, send them at the same time, or it would be looking like importance. If she took time to be their 'at the same time', then they should be thanked at the same time regardless of who is making the decision. If two people were there, that means both will be in the decision making process. Hope this helps! Good luck, I hope you get the job!!
Reply:Just address both interviewers on the email and letter....so it doesn't seem bias to one person. At least you are considering to write a letter/email, a lot of people don't even do that.
Reply:I think you should send a thank you to both parties involved. WOW - that's a great detail too! You might just give yourself a few extra points with that.
Reply:I do
