Why do I need a credit card to get an Email address for my daughter? What if I don't have a credit card?

I got my ID and Email address free when I signed up, but I need a credit card to get my daughter an ID and Email address.

Reply:You shouldn't need to provide a credit card for email. Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail all provide them for free.

Reply:thats because your daughters probaly under the certain age to get and email account by herself. to ignore that you can make her an email address with your age cuz your older. if you don't want to do that then you can make it through some other service so that you wont have to lie i guess how old is your daught i think you have to be like 13 or 14 to get one by yourself
Reply:What service are you using? You shouldn't have to pay to get an e-mail address for her. It sounds like a scam. If anything, get her a free e-mail address at yahoo or hotmail.
