or have you gone completely digital (i.e. email, on-line cards etc)?
And have the number of real cards you receive in the mail gone down over the years?
Do you send Christmas or holiday cards?
I send both. I send digital to people that I could actually see in person and wish a Merry Christmas too if I have their address. However the people that I won't see or be able to Wish a Merry Christmas I send a old fashion christmas snail mail card to.
Have the decreased....nope.
Reply:Unfortunately we don't have an efficient postal system in our country so sending physical cards is pretty much impossible. This is such a pity as I have not been able to send cards for a few years now and I therefore don't receive cards. Haven't received a card now for about five years.
I now only send Christmas messages via the internet, which makes it all so impersonal. The only good thing is that I am not wasting paper and polluting the environment with delivery vehicles.
Reply:I never send digital cards. I still do it the old fashion way. Every year, I send out approximately 40 Christmas cards. Sure e-cards saves you so much money, are fast and efficient, but I find that they can be so impersonal. Sending real cards say that you took time to write to each and every individual.
Reply:I still love mailing cards
Reply:I always send out Christmas cards in the mail. I enjoy keeping in touch with people through email but there's nothing like getting a Chrsitmas card in the mail! I know that our family still receives about the same number of cards in the mail every year.
Reply:We usually send Christmas cards although, sending holiday cards would be more welcome to certain people. I don't like sending digital cards and i always plan on sending real cards no matter how slow our post is *cough*. Over the years i believe the cards have stayed about the same, but now they get more high tech, instead of just a template from Costco, people are photo shopping collages of pictures together
Reply:I send out Christmas cards. The holiday I am celebrating is Christmas and I'm proud to say the word.
Yes, the number of cards that I have received has gone down over the years...I'm not sure why though...
(((hugs)))
Reply:I send out CHRISTMAS cards. I never send digital cards, ever.
The amount I receive has increased for me.
Reply:I used to be meticulous about sending cards, but not so much anymore. There are a few on my list, but not many. Over the years, I found that only about 10% of people send cards to me, so I decided not to stress about it.
