Can you look for someone by their email address?

A friend's credit card got stolen and the person used it online using him email address. How can I find out who it is?

You cant but if its been used, you CAN get a court order to find this info. Send me the Email addy and I will find out who the server was. You can then subpoena them to produce the users name and address. You can click my email link by clicking my name

But that will only tell you the general location. You should certainly contact the credit card company, and the authorities immediately and let them handle the investigation.

...And it won't be difficult to catch someone making charges on someone else card, in case thats really what you were wondering ;)
Reply:Put the address in where it says whois lookup (3rd one down on the left) here%26gt; http://www.dnsstuff.com/ then get the IP and put it in here%26gt; http://www.ip-adress.com/ it will give you their longitude and latitude and their ISP.
Reply:Don't really know...but if you type a username in google all their stuff comes up................
