Just received a "green" holiday card - an email with a photo attached - Give me a break!?

If this couple truly wanted to be green they would give up their 2 huge SUV's, speedboat and 3000sq ft. house.





How cheap! Send a friggin holiday card, already!





I can't stand the "green bandwagon" - if you truly want to make a change, then do it in everday life. Sending out 50 cards is not going to make you green.

You poor dear. Get over it. If somebody sent you a thosand dollars, would you complain because it wasn't two thousand? At least they're doing something. Personally, I'm happy not to clog the postal system any more than I have to and not to have to get cards that go straight to the recycling bag.
Reply:While I agree w/ you with about the SUV's, boat and huge home, I do think small changes in everyday life add up to big changes over time. It's a fact, science doesn't lie. Global warming is happening and we're destroying our planet. If you care, you'll start w/ small changes and work you way up. Try and get on the bandwagon, it won't kill you!
Reply:If they wanted to be green, they could have driven a smaller econo car instead, lived in a slightly more compact and more high tech house (to set an example) and invested in good green companies (renewable energies)





The difference is that they would in 10 years have valuable shares, a still valuable house and not invest in a car which is going to be a pile of rust in 10 years.

Reply:Go ahead and vent . I'm venting to . I did the everyday life green thing and the only person that i know of for a thousand miles if not more that has is me . Most change a light bulb and say they are green ,what kind of crap is that?





To hell with it .I'm sick of going without when nobody ells is . I'm getting in my gas guzzler and use some of the fuel and staying warm before all the hypocrites use it all up.





If i had your address i would send you a real Xmas card.
