Is anyone else getting tired of companies charging their credit cards without giving any notice?

In the last week I have had two different companies renew subscriptions without even giving me a warning that it was due. All the company says is "it was in your terms of service". I understand that, but how hard would it be for them to send an email before they renewed? I think it is just a way for them to get your money and hope you don't notice it.

Thats exactly what it is - a sneaky though legal way to bury the automatic renewal in the "fine print." The answer is to be very careful what you subscribe to and make sure the "unsubscribe" procedures are clear before you enter that card number.
Reply:YES!
Reply:sorry it is good business!!!
Reply:They don't have to because it says in your contract they can automatically renew. If you don't like it cancel it before they charge you! You are the only one keeping track of those things.
