What should I write in a thank you email to co-workers for sending me a get well card and gift card?

I had a car accident and took some time off. They sent a get well card that everyone in my department signed along with a gift card. I wanted to acknowledge that I got it and appreciate it.

What should I write in a thank you email to co-workers for sending me a get well card and gift card?
get a real card when your up and about ....................if you can't do that for some time then hand write a letter it's much more a way of showing thanks then email ( personal choice as to what I'd send or rather see)
Reply:I would recommend mailing an actual card, instead of sending an e-mail; it woud be more personalized. In the card, you could mention your appreciation of their thoughfulness, kind words, good wishes. You could also acknowledge the gift card by saying how thankful you are for it, and maybe even specify how you will use it, and whatever you purchase with it will remind you of them.
Reply:Wow! It is nice to know that everyone is thinking about me!

It was a bright spot in an otherwise dark situation that really put a smile on my face. Your gift card is appreciated and will be put to good use. Thank you all for your kind gesture!

Or you could just say "Thanks for thinking of me" :)

Or if you are a funny girl (like me) I would say something like "The gift card will come in handy since my insurance rates will surely go up now!"

Hope this helps you get started. Sometimes just the act of sending a Thank You card (which A LOT of people don't do anymore!) says 1,000 words!

I hope you are getting over your accident and will be back to work with these nice co-workers soon!
Reply:You shouldn't send it in an email. You should send them actual thank you cards.

And it goes a little something like this:

"Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, and gift card. It was very comforting to know you cared. I can't wait to do a little shopping!"
Reply:If someone sends you a "real" card, don't respond via e-mail. Is there a group bulletin board? Post a hand written thank you card there. "Thank You to everyone who showed love and support after my accident. It was appreciated"
Reply:Just let them know you appreciate their thoughts and the gift, and you are getting better and hope to see them as soon as possible. Just try to stretch that into 2 or 3 sentences. No need for anything elaborate or long.
Reply:At my place of business, the people always by a card saying thank you, sign it and post it where everyone can see. That way, they know you got the card and appreciate it.
Reply:Just say something similar to this. "Thank You for caring %26amp; letting me know it. I really appreciate the card %26amp; gift card. Thanks again"
Reply:Send an email to those who signed and express the gratitude you have for their thoughts and generosity.
Reply:You send a real card.....not an e-mail. Tell them how much you appreciate their kindness.
