Does anyone still writes paper Christmas cards or do you do it all by email?

I still do real cards and most of my friends do too. Email cards arent quite the same- you cant stand them on your tables and mantlepieces in the same way. Merry Christmas!

I always mail out real cards. I never send any one email cards.
Reply:I do real cards. I receive tons of cards too, so I know I'm not alone.
Reply:i use actual cards.
Reply:i Just sent out my 55 cards!
Reply:I still send out actual Christmas cards.
Reply:I do both, but the majority is real paper cards. It keeps the old with the new. Happy Holidays!
Reply:Both, but mainly through the mail.
Reply:I am sending the real ones, it is much more personal
Reply:I still send real cards, through the mail (quaint concept, huh?) The reason is that it requires thought, time, and a little change, and shows that I really care.

Think of it, memories are attached to everything, and most email cards get deleted. Also, there is still something special about the anticipation of getting the card, opening the envelope, and touching a card that has also been touched by your aquaintance. It's about making a physical, sensory connection to someone that you care about. Also, years down the road, when you may be out of their life, and they cared enough, they might just pull that card out of an old box and relive some memories.
Reply:I do both.

Email is nice if you get behind on things.
Reply:send them through the mail don't be so cheap
Reply:We still send Christmas cards, I look forward to receiving them in the mail. We use them as part of our Christmas decorations. This is the only time of the year that we get anything in the mail that is not either bills or junk.
Reply:i send out cards its nice to have them come in the mail and be able to diplay them, Hand written cards mean more they show you care.
