Would it be appropriate to send an email to follow up a week after a job interview?

I interviewed for a job a week ago. The guy who interviewed me told me the interview went well and my qualifications were impressive. I sent a thank you card the next day. He said he'll be scheduling a round of second interviews and should get into contact with me either Friday (of last week) or Monday (today). I haven't heard anything. Should I send an email or just wait? What would be more likely to help me get the job?

It never hurts to show you are very interested in the job. Use it to reiterate your key strengths as a candidate.

Just don't shoot yourself in the foot with poor grammar and spelling. Good luck.
Reply:stay on it til they hire you or tell ya no!
Reply:If the date they said passed i would email. It happed to me sometimes, all the times they said the whole process just got stuck somewhere and they took a few more days to call me again.
